Dance Choreography
The secret of our success is really no secret at all!
Pure and simply, this is due to our wonderfully knowledgable, talented and committed dance instructors. We are very lucky to have secured some of the best dance instructors in the country to work with us. All are professional dancers in their own right, with not only fabulous technical ability but also amazing skills in artistic interpretation of dance and choreography.

So obviously it makes sense to offer the additional services of our instructors as choreographers. Their combined knowledge of dance and the various disciplines means that we are extremely confident in our ability to provide a top notch choreography service. Here’s a little more information about some of our instructors...
Dolly
Dolly has an unrivaled background in hip hop and street dance and is the best around. She has an excellent reputation in teaching and choreographing club mix, burlesque, salsa, breakin' and zumba.
Hannah
Hannah is fun, energetic and passionate about dance with her expertise in many areas including Cheerleading, Tap, Ballet, Las Vegas Showgirl, Jazz, Street, Lyrical, Zumba and Burlesque. There is no end to her abilities.
Alex
Alex is the youngest member of our teaching staff. She teaches some of our children's classes at Platinum aswell as Club and Zumba for adults. An amazing and talented dancer we are very pleased to have her as part of the Platinum team.
Claire
Claire is our resident pole teacher, she teachers beginners right through to advanced level. Claire also teaches aerobics and is also available for private pole parties at Platinum Dance Studio or at your home.
Pinky
Pinky is an expert in hip hop, krumpin' and zumba as well as more traditonal styles, teaching both at our very own studios aswell as venues across the North East. Pinky has an infectious personality that immediately anyone who meets her wants to do her classes.
Jen H
Jen is an expert in high energy and fun dance, she teaches funky salsa, yogalates, cheer, hip hop and is a great asset to Platinum Dance Studio.
Metin
Metin is our resident break dancing expert. Bringing the dance to life teaching this fun and informal dance to all age groups.
Steph
Steph is the newest member of the Platinum team and teaches Jazz, Hip Hop and many other styles.
Jill
Jill is our resident belly dance expert. Bringing a taste of the far east to Sunderland.

Choreography for Schools
In addition to our school workshops we also run a specialist choreography service aimed at providing support and expertise to school productions. Our instructors will help to give your school production the professional touch. Classes will help train and build children’s confidence, allowing them to perform at their best. We work with children of all ages from primary right through to sixth form.
